Jätkäsaari is a modern urban district with compact residential blocks and cafés, restaurants and street level stores. Services are within a walking distance and you can always hop on a tram, too.

Jätkäsaari is being built as a western extension to Helsinki City Centre, located right by the sea. The district features versatile services, tram networks and bicycle/pedestrian routes. The vibrant passenger harbour infuses Jätkäsaari with energy and great cruise connections whisk you away to Tallinn or St. Petersburg in no time.

Jätkäsaari will be home to 21,000 residents, offering jobs for 6,000 people. The 100-hectare district will designate one fifth of its total area to parks and recreation. In the future, the locals can chill out at Hyväntoivo Park or get their daily dose of exercise at the swimming hall or sports arena.

Compact residential blocks and ambitious architecture, street-level cafés and restaurants and convenient services create a decidedly urban vibe in the neighbourhood. The seaside environment, great connectivity and modern office premises offer great opportunities to all kinds of companies.

Jätkäsaari will be completed by 2030.
