Kruunuvuorenranta is all about residential living surrounded by nature, yet close to services. Great outdoors and recreational opportunities – as well as unique light art – imprint a distinct mood into the area.

Kruunuvuorenranta will be built on the eastern shore of Kruunuvuorenselkä, opposite to Helsinki city core. At Kruunuvuorenranta, there are impressive seaside views, parks with venerable old mansions and diverse island nature. The area will be – in addition to being a tremendous place to live – also a recreational area for all Helsinki residents. Kruunuvuorenranta is the “City of Light,” with light installations shining over the waves all the way to downtown.

By 2030, Kruunuvuorenranta will feature 13,000 residents and 800 jobs. Many of Kruunuvuorenranta apartments – as well as the shoreline boulevard – feature views over the sea to downtown and Suomenlinna Sea Fortress. Most important services, such as school, day-care and small commercial centre, can already be found in the area.

From Kruunuvuorenranta, there is a distance (as the crow flies) of only three kilometres to Helsinki city centre. In the future, one can travel by tram from downtown to Kruunuvuorenranta in fifteen minutes as the Crown Bridges project will integrate Laajasalo, Kruunuvuorenranta and Kalasatama into the city core.
