From September 2020, the Helsinki-info information service of the City of Helsinki offers counselling and guidance on all City services and questions related to immigration at new service points in Pitäjänmäki, Kannelmäki, Meri-Rastila, Puotinharju, Kontula, Pihlajamäki and Malmi, as well as at the older service points.
All new service points operate at some existing City of Helsinki service location, such as a library, a cultural centre or a public playground. Helsinki-info cooperates strongly with various organizations and other City units.
The new service points, together with the older service points at Helsinki Central Library Oodi and International House Helsinki, will reach an increasing number of Helsinki residents in the future. At the same time, Helsinki-info consultants markedly advance the emergence of a more uniform and accessible Helsinki. There are today a great many residents in Helsinki who are not reached by the current City of Helsinki digital services.
After the autumn 2020 experiences from Helsinki-info have been evaluated, it will be decided which of the new service points will be added to the Helsinki-info service on a permanent basis from 2021 onwards.
